Elsie Marie Dorsch

Elsie Marie Dorsch, 97, of Lexington, MO passed away Monday, May 4, 2015 at John Knox Village Hospice, Lees Summit, MO. Elsie Marie Gausman was born April 30, 1918 in Lexington, to August and Lizzie Schoppenhorst Gausman. She married Allen Richard Dorsch on February 26, 1944 at Levasy, MO. Mrs. Dorsch was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Luke Evangelical Free Church in Wellington, MO, a member of the AARP Chapter at Wellington, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Mrs. Dorsch is survived by her children: Carolyn Scheske and husband, Carl, St. Louis, MO, Keith Dorsch and wife, Connie, Lexington, and Kent Dorsch and wife, Linda, Wellington, and a grandson, Isaiah Dorsch, Blue Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandson, Zebadiah Allen Dorsch, and brothers, Irvin Herman Gausman and Harry Charles Gausman. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 7, 2015 at St Luke Evangelical Free Church in Wellington. Burial in St. Luke Cemetery. Visitation from 10 until service time Thursday at the church. Memorials in Mrs. Dorschs memory can be made to the Kids First Program at the church.
