ELLEN LORAINE "RAINEY" ROCKHOLD
Ellen Loraine "Rainey" Rockhold, 81, of Lexington, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 at Ray County Memorial Hospital.
Memorial Services will be at 1:00pm on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. Visitation will also be on Sunday from noon to 1:00pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Lexington VFW Post 4052 or St. Judes Children's Hospital.
Rainey was born November 18, 1935 to James William and Velma Marie Dillard Dunn. She married Charles Raymond Rockhold, Jr. on November 16, 1952 in Lexington. She had worked as a jailer and custodian for the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department and she also worked at Dunhill Shirt Factory.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; her children, Jane Ward and husband Mark of Lexington, Charles "Chuck" Rockhold III and wife Patty of Cadiz, Kentucky and Sandra Kay Rockhold of Bowling Green, Kentucky; brothers, Calvin Dunn of Lexington and Larry Dunn of Blue Springs; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Rainey was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Raymond Dunn and Billy Dunn and a sister Jean Casdorph.
