Edward Leroy Hepler, 61, of Lexington, passed away October 4, 2018 at his home. Graveside service with Military Honors will be Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 10:00 am at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville.
Ed was born June 13, 1957 in Kane, Pennsylvania to Donald and Dorothy (Erskine) Hepler. He served during the Vietnam War in the United States Navy and in the United States Army Reserve. He worked in construction and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Lexington.
Survivors include his daughter, Charity Greenawald and husband Jeffrey of Hartstown, Pennsylvania; brother, Dean Hepler of Greenville, Pennsylvania; sisters, Brenda Glancy and husband Paul of Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania and Denise Hepler of Oil City, Pennsylvania; and three granddaughters, Summer, Megan and Shauna Greenawald. He was preceded in death by his parents; two children, Edward Hepler, Jr. and Carrie Hepler; and sister Donna Hepler.
