Edna Christine Williamson

Edna Christine (Chris) Williamson (Holler) 72 of Odessa, Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024.  Chris was born in Kansas City, Missouri on February 28, 1951, to Vernis and Rose (Griffin) Holler. Chris graduated from Blue Springs High School in Blue Springs, Missouri in 1969. After high school, Chris married CL Williamson on April 29, 1971.  The couple had three children and later came to reside in Warsaw, Missouri. A lover of the outdoors, Chris enjoyed spending time fishing, camping, and telling jokes around the fire. She shared her talent of cooking for years both with her family and the families of many others while working at Lincoln Community Care Center in Lincoln, Missouri. 

For Chris, the simple moments with family and friends were most important.  Never without a story to share, and a laugh to spare, she was and will always be a firecracker.

Chris is survived by three children: Sheila (Williamson) Westphal, Tanya (Danny) Shrum, and Robbie Williamson. As well as 8 grandchildren: Caitlin Pedigo, Tyler Pedigo, Devin (Christine) Thoennes, Brady Thoennes, Jason Williamson, Ayla Williamson, Colton Williamson, and Logan Williamson as well as one great-grandchild: Octavia Petty.  Chris is survived by three siblings: Jerry (Donna) Holler, Robert Holler, and Terry (Gerald) Braley.

Chris was preceded in death by her husband, CL Williamson, parents Vernis and Rose Holler and brother Tom Holler.

In Lieu of a funeral service, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Sheila Westphal. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ralph O.
