Earl Ray Adams, 62, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Friday, August 22, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Odessa, MO surround by family.
The Family will host a Celebration of Life Service at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Odessa, MO. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Church. Memorials are suggested to the Family. Condolences for the family may be left at

Ray was born on January 2, 1952 in Conroe, Texas to Clarence Howard Adams, Sr. and Helen Marie (Campbell) Adams. He graduated from Albany High School in Albany, TX in 1970. Ray was a member of the First Baptist Church in Odessa, MO. After 31 years he retired from the Thriftway Grocery Store in Odessa. His hobbies included square dancing and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his mother, Helen Marie Adams of Odessa, MO, a sister, Mary Helen Holt of Odessa, MO, a brother, Junior Adams of Odessa, MO; two nephews, Michael Adams of Odessa, MO and Keith Holt and wife Renee of Odessa, MO; and a niece Karen Corbett of Odessa, MO.
In addition to his father, Earl was preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Jean Murph and two nephews, Kenneth Baskett and Brian Howard Adams.
