DUANE FRANKLIN SCHALLER Duane Franklin Schaller, 88, of Lexington, MO passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg, MO. Duane Schaller was born December 3, 1925 in Corder, MO to Basil Edwin and Martha Lavina Lloyd Schaller. He married Anneliese Kircheis, daughter of Max Erich and Elsa Troger Kircheis, on July 17, 1948 in Lexington. Duane was employed at Lake City Ammunition Plant, and retired after 33 years. He was a member of the Lexington First Baptist Church since 1951, where he had also served as a Deacon. He was an Army Veteran of WWII. Duane is survived by his wife of 65 years, Anneliese, of the home. Five daughters: Monica Soendker (Dennis), Lexington, Robin Wade (Sammy), Warrensburg, Debra Misemer (Marvin), Blue Springs, Diana Morris (William), Lexington and Michelle Roush (Damon) of Lexington. A brother, Dale Schaller, Lexington. Sisters: Bonnie Walquist (Bob), and Patricia Bell (George), both of Lexington. There are 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Donald Schaller, and sisters: Viola Clouse, Audrey Douglas, and Shirley Lampton. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Lexington First Baptist Church. Burial in Lexington Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church.
