Dorothy Kopp, 92, of Lexington, MO passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 at Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington. Dorothy Smith was born December 3, 1918 in Columbus, MO, the daughter of George Thomas and Maude Catherine Gann Smith. She married Donald K. Kopp on June 9, 1945. Dorothy and her husband were long time Lexington business owners. She was co-owner of Kopps Motel and Restaurant and later co-owned Museum of the Yesteryears. Mrs. Kopp is survived by a son, Terry Kopp and wife, Robin, of Lexington. Two grandchildren: Thomas Kopp and Tonya Kopp; a great-grandson, Logan Christopher Kopp, all of Lexington. One sister, Bertha Myrtle Greenway of Odessa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Kopp on May 27, 1983; six brothers: Roy Lee, James Floyd, Otho Moian �Cotton�, Luther Thomas, Orville, and Gordon Alan; two sister: Beula May and Leona Pearl. Services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the Lexington First Baptist Church. Burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington, MO. Memorials may be made to the family.
