Lurrene Margaret Czeschin, 90, of Napoleon, Missouri passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Centerpoint Hospital in Independence, MO. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 1, 2012 at the Napoleon United Methodist Church with Pastor Kim Swartz officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Napoleon United Methodist Cemetery. Lurrene was born on August 25, 1921 in Napoleon, MO to Theodore and Bertha O. (Dingwerth) Twente. She was a lifelong member of the Napoleon United Methodist Church, she played the organ for many years and lead Sunday school. Her confirmation was on April 1, 1934. She was a 1939 graduate of the Lexington High School. On February 22, 1945 she was united in marriage to Arthur Edward Czeschin in Napoleon, MO. He preceded her in death on January 21, 1999. In addition to being active in the church she was a member of the United Methodist Women where she was active with the quilting group, the Wellington-Napoleon AARP and a 4-H leader. She loved to cook, garden, socialize and most of all spend time with her friends, family and grandchildren. Survivors include four children, Beverly Sue Kincaid and husband Arvel of Pleasant Hill, MO, Sandra Faye Stuenkel and husband Marvin of Jefferson City, MO, Lavonne Kay Graham and husband Ike of Wellington, MO, and Earl Arthur Czeschin and wife Cindy of Napoleon, MO; eight grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren; two sister-in-laws, Marie Turley of Tulsa, OK and Nadine Butler of Raymore, MO and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two infant great granddaughters, Ava and Alexa Toebben and two brothers, Raymond Twente and Allen Twente.
