Ralph Henry Barker, 72, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at home surrounded by family. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, January 3, 2014 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2013 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. Second St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. www.ralphojones.com or on our Facebook page. Ralph was born on August 26, 1941 in Lexington, MO to Walter and Irene Barker. He was a graduate of Wellington High School. Ralph was a Veteran of the United States Army and a Lifetime Member of the Odessa V.F.W. Post 5675. He was a retired Truck Driver, and farmed most of his life. Ralphs hobbies include Fishing and tinkering on motors and machinery. Survivors include three children, Benita Haynes and husband Steve of Blue Springs, MO, Hank Barker, Jr., and wife Valerie of Odessa, MO and Genia Combs and husband Dennis of Odessa, MO; six grandchildren, Alicia and Kassy Barker, Eric Pennington, Katlyn Alexander, Beth Haynes and Kammie Walker; two great grandchildren, Autumn and Lee Carpenter. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents.
