Donna Sue Simkins

Donna Sue (Butler) Simkins, 82, of Concordia, Missouri passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at her residence in Concordia, MO surrounded by her family.

Donna was born on December 16, 1940, in Slater, MO to Omer Joseph and Gertrude Lucille (Yates) Butler. She attended Higginsville Middle School.  On December 17, 1985, she was united in marriage to Robert Wayne Simkins.  He preceded her in death on February 7, 2021. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Donna enjoyed gambling, traveling, and dancing with her husband Bob.

Donna is survived by five children, Justine Lubansky, Lori Reicher, Stanley McGroarty, Jr., Kimberly Briggs, and Debra Lavatai; ten grandchildren many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren., and many relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by one child, Terri Garrison, and four brothers and one sister.
