Donald Russell Mason

Donald Russell Mason, 65, of Kansas City, MO died Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Donald R. Mason was born October 27, 1948 in Lexington, MO, the son of Eugene Mason and Lucille Garvin Mason. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of the Second Baptist Church of Lexington. He had been employed at the General Motors (Fairfax) Plant on the assembly line. Donald is survived by children: Courtney Jenkins, Warrensburg, MO, and Done Share Jackson, Kansas City. A brother, Ronald �Skippy� Mason and a sister, Phyllis Mason, both of Lexington. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: David, Clifford, and Larry and a sister, Marsha Mason. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the Second Baptist Church in Lexington. Visitation from 12 to 1 p.m. Saturday also at the church. Burial will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with military rites. Memorials may be made to the Second Baptist Church of Lexington.
