Lexington, Missouri

Donald Wayne “Wayno” Reynolds, 55 of Lexington, Missouri passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas surrounded by family and friends.

 

The family will host a Celebration of Life at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Lexington V.F.W. Post 4052, 3109 Franklin Ave., Lexington, MO, 64067. Wayno was born on November 28, 1969, in Richmond, MO to David and Patsy (Eaton) Reynolds. Wayno never met a stranger, anyone who knew him loved him. You could always find him in a crowd with his famous whistles. Wayno loved listening to Bob Seger in the back yard and his neighbors liked it too “whether they liked it or not”. Wayno loved to fish the mighty Missouri River with Jason Howes, Jamie Smith, Jeff Ellison and the rest of his buddies. He loved his dogs. Wayno worked in concrete for 30 plus years, learning from his uncle Danny Eaton, Roy Gibson, and Rick Howes. He loved spending time with his wife Johnna of 20 years, his children, and grandchildren. 

 

Wayno is survived by his wife Johnna of Lexington, MO; father, David Reynolds and wife Julie of Warsaw, MO; four children, Bre Rush of Lexington, MO, Travis Reynolds and companion Megan Hagan of Concordia, MO, Ashton Reynolds of Concordia, MO, and Shane Marcus of Lexington, MO; two grandchildren, Faith Harris and Annebelle Lou Reynolds; two brothers, Ronald David Reynolds and companion Mendy of Warsaw, MO and Bobby Dean Reynolds and wife Tammy of Warsaw, MO; the crew (Bobby Wayne, Davie, Darrell, Rhonda, Marcie, and Sandy); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. 

 

Wayno was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Eaton; maternal grandparents, Morris and Marjorie Eaton; and paternal grandparents, Elmer and Lena Reynolds.
