Donald Ray Dunlap, 71, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Select Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
Per Donald’s request his body was donated to the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine. Inurnment with Military Rites will take place at a later date. Condolences for the family may be left at

Donald was born on November 30, 1944 in Kansas City, MO to Howard Lee and Elizabeth Mae (Campbell) Dunlap. Donald was a veteran of the United States Marine Core, serving from 1966-1984. While serving in the Marines he earned the Rifle Expert Badge, good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Purple Heart, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, combat Action Ribbon, Presidential Unit Citation, Humanitarian Service Medal and the Pistol Marksman Badge. Donald was a lifetime member of the Odessa VFW Post 5675. He retired from the Warrensburg School District as a Custodian after 10 plus years.
Survivors include a sister Hazel M. Smith of Warrensburg, MO and a brother Charles Melvin Bradshaw of Independence, MO.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents.
