Ina Faye Vorwark

Ina Faye Vorwark, 79, of Mayview, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in Odessa, MO Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 31, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Mayview, MO with Reverend William Spray officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. Second St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Ina was born on May 19, 1933 in Salem, Arkansas to Henry Elisha and Anna Mae (Fuller) Myers. Ina was a 1952 graduate of Salem High School. On June 26, 1955 she married William Ralph Vorwark in Kansas City, MO, who preceded her in death on July 11, 1989. In 1973 she started working for the Mayview Elementary as a cook and in 1997 she transferred to the Odessa Elementary. In later years she was a proud Foster Grandparent working for the Higginsville, MO office. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mayview, MO. In her spare time she loved gardening, canning, cooking and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Ina is survived by one daughter Carmen Vorwark of Odessa, MO; two grandchildren, Jeff Vorwark and wife Christy, Brandi Dukes and Fianc� Brian Welborn; four great grandchildren, Sienna Vorwark, Hunter Vorwark, Lance Dukes and Mason Dukes; one brother, Wayne Myers and wife Deanna of Platte City, MO; five sisters, Dorene Clark of North Kansas City, MO, Aletta Flewellen of Houston, Texas, Ruth Upchurch of Topeka, Kansas, Henrietta Pryor of Eldon, MO and Cathy Jones and husband Glyn of California; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a Son William Roger Vorwark who passed away on March 14, 2009.
