Dennis Ray Elliott

October 25, 1954 — February 27, 2020

Dennis Elliott, 65, of Lexington, Mo, returned to Heaven on February 27, 2020 at 2:45pm. To honor the man Dennis was, we would appreciate you joining and uplifting his family in a celebration of his life Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 3 pm-5 pm at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home at 1720 South St, Lexington, Mo.Dennis was born, October 25, 1954, to Edwin and Mary Elliott in Norborne, Mo. Dennis attended public school in Norborne. One of his first jobs was pumping gas at a gas station; it was there that his love and knowledge for cars grew. Dennis had several jobs after that including painting, and as a firefighter for both Carrollton and Lexington. It was during these careers that he met his wife Teresa Elliott, and they were married on April 15, 1977. It was shortly after his marriage that he went to work for Ford Motor Company, assembling vehicles and eventually being one of the main repair men, where he worked for 35+ years. Dennis loved everything “Ford”. In his spare time he loved grocery shopping and looking for deals, and watching old classic tv shows; he also was always willing to help with whatever was needed, and was great at fixing just about anything. Dennis loved his family, and lived his life serving them and the Lord. Dennis is survived by his wife, Teresa; son, Brandon; daughters, Andrea (husband, Blake), Stacey (husband, Martin), and PJ; and grandkids Brittany, Bethany, Bree, Brooke, Libby, Jacob, Judah, Jesse, and Hadley; all of Lexington, and sister, Michelle of Frontenac, KS; also many in-laws, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. He was regarded highly by many. Memorials may be made to his grandchildren’s college fund in the care of Teresa Elliott.
