Delilah June Clouse

Delilah June (Johnson) Clouse, 79 of Waverly, Missouri passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022, at home surrounded by family.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 19, 2022, at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 S. St., Lexington, MO, 64067, 660-259-2245.  A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 19, 2022, at the funeral home.  Interment will be in the Lexington Memory Gardens in Lexington, MO.  Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Memories of Delilah and condolences for her family may be left at www.LedfordFamilyFH.com or on our Facebook Page. 

Delilah was born on October 8, 1942, in Morgan County, MO to Elmer E. and Betty Johnson.  She was a homemaker who took pride in caring for her family.  On June 7, 1991, Delilah was united in marriage to Kevin Clouse in Waverly, MO.  In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Delilah enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, and fishing. 

Survivors include Delilah’s husband, Kevin Clouse of Waverly, MO; four children, Dave Hilgar and Della Hilgar both of Sedalia, MO, Carlisia Farr of Laurie, MO, and Tammera Shackelford and husband Rick of Waverly, MO; one sister, Florence Daniels of Waverly, MO; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Delilah was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Hilgar; and many brothers and sisters.
