Delbert W. Soendker, 76, of Corder, MO passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Lafayette Regional Health Center. Delbert W. Soendker was born March 11, 1938 in Wellington, MO, the son of Wesley H. and Mary E. Baker Soendker. He married Janice Hoeppner on October 6, 1963, she passed away on February 28, 1977. He then married Sharon Kay Bowman on December 19, 1980. Delbert was a farmer all his life. He was of the Baptist Faith and had served in the Missouri National Guard. Delbert is survived by his wife, Sharon, of the home. A daughter, Amy Dobson, and husband, Mark, of Lexington. Step-children: Dana Linebach (Ray), Corder, MO, Lora Grandestaff (Richard), Warsaw, MO, Jamie Ross (William), Jacksonville, FL and Michelle Heimsoth, Higginsville, MO. Brothers: Lawrence Soendker (Louetta), Marshall, Carl Soendker, Lexington, Robert Soendker, Mayview, Calvin Soendker (Jeanne), Higginsville, Larry Soendker (Linda), Mayview, and Dennis Soendker (Monica), Lexington. Sisters: Helen Diestelkamp, Higginsville, Esther Dieckmann (Kenneth), Napoleon and Janice Jenkins (Richard), Lees Summit. A sister-in-law, Margaret Soendker, Higginsville There are 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren and 6 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janice Hoeppner Soendker, a son, Lance Soendker, his parents, brother, Wesley Soendker, Jr. and a sister, Wahneta Bell. Services will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the Corder Baptist Church. Burial in Lexington Memory Gardens.
