Debrah Louise (Boone) Lackey, 59, of Independence, Missouri passed away on Tuesday May 2, 2017 in Independence, MO.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 7, 2017 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m., to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 7, 2017 at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Debrah was born on March 26, 1958 in Lexington, MO to Elvin Lester & Bonnie Jean (Cline) Boone. She attended East High School in Kansas City, MO. On January 10, 1995 she married Joel Elton Lackey in Las Vegas, Nevada. He survives of the home. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Debrah enjoyed decorating, animals and Caribbean vacations.
Debrah is survived by her husband, Joel Lackey of Independence, MO, two children, Rebecca Eli-Giles and husband Chris of Blue Springs, MO and Jacob Thomas Lackey of Independence, MO; a granddaughter, Averie Kristine Giles; two brothers, Ronnie Boone of Lake Lotawana, MO and Richard Boone of Independence, MO; four sisters, Rhonda Boone of Greenwood, MO, Melissa Harris of Lawrence, KS, Cynthia Harmon of Los Angeles, CA and Sarah Boone of Kansas City, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
Debrah was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
