Debra Jane (George) Stephenson, 63 of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Friday May 5, 2017 at home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 8, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Greenton Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the charity of donor’s choice. Debbie was born on June 23, 1953 in Independence, MO to Max & Mary Jane (Hull) George. She graduated in 1971 from Odessa High School. After high school Debbie completed Cosmetology School. She married Donald Stephenson in July of 1972 and they had two children, Shelly and Donielle. She was currently retired, but had worked for Hot Pots Restaurant for several years in various locations. Debbie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Odessa, MO. Her joy was in the time she spent with her girls, and grandchildren… Keagan, Logan and Adi Morgan.
Survivors include two daughters, Donielle Stephenson and husband Bryan of Shawnee, KS and Shelly Long and husband Kevin of Grain Valley, MO; three grandchildren, Keagan Long, Logan Long and Adi Morgan Truta; father, Max George; step-father, Robert “Bob” Windsor of Odessa, MO; a sister, Robin Dyer and husband Marlon of Odessa, MO; a brother, Thomas George of Calhoun, MO and many nieces and nephews.
Debbie was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jane Windsor and a brother, Gregory George.
