David Allan Seward, 47 of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 as a result of a semi-trailer accident.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 11, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church, 7995 Outer Rd., Odessa, MO, 64076. Burial will be in the Greenton Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to an education fund for David’s daughter that will be established at a later date, memorials can be made to the care of Amy Seward. David was born on May 13, 1971 in Independence, MO to John Junior and Cassie Marie (Church) Seward. He graduated in 1989 from Holden High School in Holden, MO. David married Amy Jean (Aichele) Seward on May 4, 1990 in Miami, OK. He was currently employed for the last 14 years with Eagle Express Lines in Homewood, Illinois as a Truck Driver. David was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and the NRA. In addition to spending time with his family, David enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, trucking and most of all he was always ready to help anyone when needed.
David is survived by his wife, Amy Seward; a daughter, Bitha Jean Seward, both of Odessa, MO; brother, Matthew Seward and partner Michael Sullivan of Independence, MO; sister, Sharon Elaine Baker of Grain Valley, MO; and mother-in-law, Sharon Cooper and husband Robert of Napoleon, MO.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
