David Lee Ballew, 73, of Lexington passed away Monday, February 5, 2024 at his home, surrounded by loved ones.

 

David Lee was born May 13, 1950 to David William and Alberta (Cado) Ballew in Lexington.

 

David Lee worked at Fairfax GMC as well as Higginsville Habilitation Center and retired from Lafayette County as an appraiser.

 

David Lee is survived by his wife, Ruth of Lexington; daughter, Ashley Krause and husband John of Farmington, Missouri, and their children Montana (Alex) and Emerson (Rachel) Krause; daughter, Season Yerasimides of Texas and children, London, Aidan Cale and Avery; daughter, Bobbie Jammes and wife Libby of Lexington and children, Chance, Kimber and Kylie; brothers, Paul Ballew of Indiana, Steven Ballew of Windsor and John Ballew of Higginsville; and many other relatives and friends.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, David William and Alberta (Cado) Ballew and uncle, James Cado.

 

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Lexington Memory Gardens Cemetery.  The family asks that donations be made to the James Cado Scholarship Fund or Beacon of Hope Hospice, Blue Springs, Missouri.  Memories and condolences may be left at www.LedfordFamilyFH.com.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South Street, Lexington, MO  64067, 660-259-2245.
