Daryn Lee Kearney (Dagwood), 51, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. Second St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524, with Reverend David Howie officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Odessa City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family. Daryn was born on October 24, 1962 in Kansas City, MO to Eugene Edward Kearney and Carol G. (Bunch) Ferguson. He graduated from Odessa High School in 1981. Daryn was a Cabinet Maker and worked for Regency Cabinets in Bates City, MO until his retirement. His hobbies include watching NASCAR, football and racing his radio controlled cars. He loved spending time with his family and friends and especially his nieces and nephews.
Survivors include his step father, David Ferguson of Odessa, MO, a brother, Kevin Kearney and wife Marsha of Odessa, MO, two sisters, Dana Davis and husband Jimmy of Wellington, MO and Kim Corn of Odessa, MO, 9 nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews and his biological father Eugene Kearney.
Daryn was preceded in death by his mother.
