Darren Lee Day

Darren Lee Day, 36 of Lexington, Missouri passed away September 9, 2022 in Blue Springs, Missouri.

Darren was born August 27, 1986 in Olathe, Kansas to Dawn Riggs and Dewayne Day.  He worked as a salesman for a tree company and enjoyed rodeos, motorcycles, tractor pulls and bonfires. Darren also loved spending time with family and friends.  Darren’s life revolved around his daughter Brilee, she was his pride and joy.

Survivors include his mother, Dawn Riggs of Lexington; his father, Dewayne Day of Independence; children, Kenton Day, Penelope Poston and Brilee Day of Lexington; sisters, Destiny Day of Lexington, Desirea Frydelund and husband Anton of Liberty, Missouri and Teighlor Sumners; step brother, Pete Riggs of Springfield; and nieces and nephews, Paisley Hurley, Gracelyn Hurley, Aries Frydenlund, Kylo Frydenlund and Lilly McPherson; and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his step father, Larry Riggs.
