Darlene Faye (Orendor) Jennings, 81, of Belton, Missouri formerly of Lexington, Missouri passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at home surrounded by family.
Visitation will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South St., Lexington, MO, 64076, 660-259-2245. A funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. Rite of Committal will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO. Darlene was born on September 1, 1938 in Lexington, MO to James Ralph and Mary (Nelson) Orendor. She married Wayne Jennings on October 22, 1954 in Lexington, MO. Darlene and Wayne celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary last year. Darlene was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lexington before transferring to St. Sabina Parish in Belton, MO.
Darlene is survived by her husband Wayne Jennings of Belton, MO; three children, Vincent Jennings, Terry Jennings, and Len Jennings. Darlene is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; one brother, Jerry Orendor, two sisters, Margie Good and Nancy Whitsitt, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by two brothers, Victor and Jimmy Orendor and a sister, Doris Sims.
