DANNY LEE BARNES

Funeral services for Danny Barnes, 59 of Lexington will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 10:00 am at the Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 28, 2011. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Lexington. Mr. Barnes died on December 24, 2011 at Centerpoint Hospital, Independence, MO after a sudden illness. Memorials may be made to the family. Danny Barnes was born on October 10, 1952 at Marian KY. Mr. Barnes had worked for Sprint Telephone for 30 years and was recently employed by ATK at Lake City. Mr. Barnes had been enlisted in the National Guard and was a member of the Elks Lodge, Lexington, and was involved with the Boy Scouts, the Eagle Scouts and the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. Mr. Barnes is survived by his daughter, Stacey Barnes (Lucas Calvert), Lexington, two grandchildren, Kaitlyn Barnes, and Ella Calvert, Lexington. Also surviving is a brother, Jamie Barnes and wife, Mary Anne, Blue Springs and a sister Tammy Wisdom, Paducah, KY, and his father, Junior Barnes, Lexington and his mother Loretta Link and husband, Bill, Paducah, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews.
