Daisy May Mueller

Daisy May (Danner) Mueller, 97, of Oak Grove, Missouri, formally of Napoleon, Missouri, passed away Monday, August 7, 2023, at Ignite Medical Resort in Blue Springs, Missouri.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 12, 2023, at the funeral home.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 12, 2023, at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Greenton Cemetery.

Daisy was born in Courtney, Missouri on February 24, 1926, to Bertie William and Mary Goldie (Surber) Danner. Daisy graduated from Wellington High School. Daisy was united in marriage to Wilfred Herbert Mueller in Kansas City, MO on December 27, 1948. He preceded her in death. Daisy retired from Montgomery Wards as a telephone catalog operator. Daisy was known for having a green thumb. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oak Grove. Along with spending time with family and friends, Daisy enjoyed cooking, sewing, and fishing.   

Daisy is survived by three children, Sheila (Dennis) Morgan of Olathe, KS, Audrey (Darrell) Cotter of Gladstone, MO, and Twila Walker of Aullville, MO; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Overton, Joe Morgan, Jacquelynn Schwarz, Tonya Lohmann, Amber Wissler, Matthew Lofquist, John Butkovich, and Holly Hamill; 23 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Along with both her parents, Daisy was preceded in death by her husband Wilfred Mueller; one grandchild, Cassandra Manring; two sisters, Virgina Puckett and Leona Oheartnet, and one brother David “D.R.” Danner.
