Curtis Neil Clemens, 86, of Odessa, Missouri, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
A Family Hosted Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at the Odessa Restoration Church, 6783 MO-131, Odessa, MO 64076. Curtis was born April 5, 1937, in Richmond, MO to Roscoe R. and Anna L. (Halterman) Clemens. He graduated from Excelsior Springs High School. Curtis was united in marriage to Ruby “Judy” Jewel Elberts on May 10, 1958, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Curtis owned and operated Clemens Excavating for 50 years. He was an active member of Odessa Restoration Branch Church. If Curtis wasn’t found working his business, you could find him involved with the church or snowmobiling.
Curtis is survived by three children Elaine “Dodie” Busby of Odessa, MO, Debra “Debbie” Allen of Odessa, MO, and Brad Clemens of Odessa, MO; grandchildren Sean Allen (Caroline), Neil Allen (Jennifer), Brett Clemens (Tiffany), Tyler Busby (Jessica), Bryant Clemens (Megan), Nick Clemens (Reagan), Cara Green (Tristan), as well as 18 great- grandchildren, with one more coming soon; long with many relatives and friends.
Curtis was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby “Judy” Jewel Clemens, one son, Clifford Clemens.
