Clarence Edward Willig. 84 of Odessa, MO passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014 at home.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 14, 2014, from 3 to 4:00 p.m. at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO 64076, 816-633-5524. Graveside Services with Military Rites will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 15, 2014 with Reverend Terry Hodges officiating, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. Interment will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to a local animal shelter of the donor’s choice. Condolences for the family may be left at

Clarence was born on November 26, 1930 in Marshall, MO to Clarence J. and Adelle (Howery) Willig. In 1949 he graduated from Sweet Springs High School in Sweet Springs, MO. On February 26, 1952 Clarence enlisted in the United States Army, he served in active duty during the Korean War and was discharged from active duty on November 25, 1953. He served the remainder of his eight years in the Army Reserves.
Survivors include Rick Willig and wife Judy, Dan Willig and wife Beverly of Odessa, MO; Doug Willig and wife Tonya of Jefferson City, MO and Eddy Willig and wife Jenny of Lathrop, MO. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a very special friend, Joy McDonald of Odessa, MO.
In addition to his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by a son, Jack Willig on September 8, 2004
