Clarence L. Miller, 72, of Mayview, MO passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016 at St. Luke�s East Hospital in Lee�s Summit, MO. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the Zion United Church of Christ, 105 N. Mary St., Mayview, MO. Burial will be in Lexington Memory Gardens Cemetery, Lexington, MO. Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time on Saturday. Memorials can be made to the family.
Clarence L. Miller was born March 11, 1944 in Kansas City, MO, the son of James and Mary Jane Webb Miller. He married Nina Irene Talbert in 1962. Clarence had retired after 35 years from Lake City Munitions where he had worked in production, pipe fitting, and as a mechanic. Clarence was a Baptist, and loved hunting and fishing.
Clarence is survived by his children: Clarence L. Miller, Jr., Cameron, MO, Glenn Miller, Higginsville, MO, Crystal Miller-Rippee, Lenexa, KS, Renee Miller, Mayview, MO. Brothers: William Miller, Kansas City, MO, Edward Miller, Warrensburg, MO, Raymond Miller, Columbia, MO, and Marvin Miller, Warrensburg, MO. There are 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Nina, an infant brother, Aubruy, a half-brother, Lawrence Miller and a sister, Mary Flossie Harrison Carter.
