Clarence Ray Andrews

Clarence Ray Andrews, 81 of Odessa, Missouri formerly of Middlebury, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Lee’s Summit, MO.

Clarence was born on August 31, 1941, in Goshen, IN to Niles and Florence (Reynolds) Andrews.  He graduated in 1959 from Mount Carmel High School in Breathitt, Kentucky.  He was a member of Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church in Goshen, IN.  Clarence was an active member and retired from the Middlebury Fire Department, and as the Supervisor for the town of Middlebury, IN.  In addition to spending time with family and friends, Clarence enjoyed fishing, making jewelry, and woodworking. 

Clarence is survived by four children, Colette Liles (John) of Odessa, MO, Greg Andrews (Cindy) of Dixon, MO, Jeff Huber (Penny) of Goshen, IN, and Melissa Miller (Brad) of La Grange, IN; a son-in-law, Ron Bainter of Middlebury, IN; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Doug Andrews and Wayne Andrews; and many relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Bainter.
