Christopher Ray Morris

Christopher Ray Morris, 47, of Lexington, Missouri passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 10, 2023.

Christopher was born on April 27, 1976, in Kansas City, MO to Johnnie Joe Ward and Laverne Sue Bowling.  He graduated from Harrisonville High School in Harrisonville, MO.  Christopher worked mostly in the tree trimming business.  In addition to spending time with family he enjoyed fishing and visiting with friends.

Survivors include four siblings, Nakia Morris of Lexington, MO, Darryl Ward and companion Destiny Day of Lexington, Virginia Baker and husband Clay of Independence, MO and Susan Gonzales and husband Rudy of Independence, MO; uncle, Raymond Morris of Lexington, MO; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.   

Christopher was preceded in death by his parents.
