Christine Marie (Yager) Frye, 56, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at home surrounded by family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the Greenton Baptist Church, 9345 Greenton Rd., Odessa, MO, 64076 with Reverend David Howie officiating. No visitation. Christine was born on July 8, 1960 in Kansas City, MO to Ron & Margaret (Davis) Yager. She graduated in 1978 from Odessa High School in Odessa, MO. She married Roy Eugene Frye on March 20, 1985 in Odessa. He survives of the home. Christine owned and operated a Telecommunications Business called Sycamore Bay Co. for ten plus years. She was a member of the Greenton Baptist Church. In addition to spending time with family and friends, she enjoyed gardening, fishing, and being outdoors.
Survivors include her father, Ron Yager of Richmond, KS, her husband Roy Frye of Odessa, MO; five children, Virginia Corcoran and Fiancé Mike Ryan of Terlton, Oklahoma, Stephen Sparks and wife Nikki of Lexington, MO, Kevin Frye of Raytown, MO, Amy Harr and husband Daniel of St. Joseph, MO and Julie Garrison and husband Jake of Jefferson City, MO; eleven grandchildren; one brother Ron Yager, Jr. and wife Georgia of Higginsville, MO; two sisters, Lisa Buckler and husband Scott of Odessa, MO and Lori Overstreet and Fiancé Dustin of Higginsville, MO; maternal aunt, Patty Parsons, of Oak Grove, MO and many nieces and nephews.
Christine was preceded in death by her mother.
