Christina Marie Looney

 Christina Marie (Folsom) Looney, 51, of Lexington, Missouri, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023, at home.

The family will host a Celebration of Life at the Moose Lodge in Lexington, Missouri, on Sunday, February 5, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.  Memories of Christina and condolences for her family may be left at www.LedfordFamilyFH.com or on our Facebook Page.  Cremation has been entrusted to the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 S. Christina was born on September 18, 1971, in Kansas City, Missouri, to James Emil and Lula Mae (Burns) Folsom.  She worked in healthcare most of her life.  Christina worked as a nurse’s aide for the nursing home in Lexington and later in home health.  She was Baptist by faith.  Christina was extremely proud of her children; she experienced great joy watching them walk across the stage to receive their Master’s Degrees recently.  In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Christina loved watching movies, she was an avid music fan, especially of Metallica, but most of all being a Grandma brought joy to her life.  She will be greatly missed. 

Christina is survived by her mother, Lula Folsom of Lexington, MO; three children, Zena Howard-Looney and husband Tyler Howard of St. Robert, MO, Ryan Looney of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Alanna Thomas of Richmond, Virginia; one grandchild, Dagan Poole; a sister, Clara Boros and husband Bill of Melrose, Florida; a brother, Lucas Folsom and companion Dana Diehm of Lexington, MO; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Christina was preceded in death by her father.
