Charles “Dougie” Douglas Liese, 72, of Lexington, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington, Missouri surrounded by his family.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 2:00pm, Sunday, March 24, 2024 at the Lexington VFW. Memorials are suggested to Friends of the Friendless. Dougie was born July 7, 1951, in Corder, Missouri to Charles W. and Jean Liese. He graduated from Higginsville High School. Dougie proudly served in the Army and Air Force Guard. Dougie worked for MFA Agri Services. He was united in marriage on December 14, 2002, to Judy (Pollard) Liese in Lexington, Missouri.
Dougie was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. Along with spending time with family and friends, Dougie enjoyed extreme bar bingo, singing karaoke, and traveling.
Dougie is survived by his loving wife, Judy Liese of Lexington, MO; two children, Kami (Micah) Madison of Lexington, MO, and Kaleena Liese of Blue Springs, MO; four grandchildren, Saige Madison, Tanner Johnson, Jaxon Goring, and Kellan Goring; four great-grandchildren, Gracelynn Wilson, Natalie Wilson, Sophie Johnson, and Aaliyah Johnson; three sisters, Joyce Wiley, Patricia (Mike) Ehlers, and Linda Kallenberger; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Along with both his parents, Dougie was preceded in death by one grandchild, Gensen Madison; two brothers, Jerry and Ronnie Liese.
