Charles Lane Kirk

Charles Lane Kirk, 71, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at home surrounded by his family.

A family hosted celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Charles was born on September 23, 1952, in Excelsior Springs, Missouri to Charles David and Louis Mae (Yetter) Kirk. He graduated from Odessa High School in 1970. Charles worked for Walton Company as a union carpenter for many years. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Charles enjoyed NASCAR, watching boxing, building various things, and was a real ladies man.

Charles is survived by five children, Bill (Karla) Hager, Amber Kirk of West Virginia, Charles “Tony” (Mallory) Kirk of Ohio, Sarah (Brian) Talbot of West Virginia, and Cody Kirk of Missouri; seven grandchildren, Sterling Hager, Sutton Hager, Chyna Miller, Caterina Kirk, Beckett Kirk, Skarlette Talbot, and Raedyn Talbot, one great-grandchild, one sister, Cheryl (Bob) Bainbridge; one step brother, George Parker, and a step sister, Chris Gilchrist; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. 

Along with both his parents, Charles was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Kirk.
