Charles Ray Brown

Charles Ray Brown, 71 of Wellington, Missouri passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024, at home.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 6, 2024, at Greenton Cemetery, 9345 Greenton Rd., Odessa, MO, 64076. Charles was born June 28, 1953, in Holden, MO to Charlie F. and Ruby Joyce (Murry) Brown. He farmed for many years with his father, raising hogs and cattle, and they also had a fencing business. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Charles enjoyed going to auctions.

Survivors include a brother, Larry Dean Brown and wife Claudia of Bates City, MO; a brother-in-law, James Peterson of Lexington, MO; five nieces and nephews, Larry Dean Brown, II, Charlie Harold Brown, Lorie Jolynn Brown, Kenneth S. Peterson, and Daniel F. Peterson; and many relatives and friends. 

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lee Peterson, a brother in infancy, David Eugene Brown, and a nephew, James F. Peterson.
