CHARLES �BEAU� ERNEST WESTBROOK Charles �Beau� Ernest Westbrook, 86, of Lexington, MO passed away on Friday, December 6, 2013 at Riverbend Heights Health and Rehabilitation Center, Lexington. Charles �Beau� Ernest Westbrook was born on November 18, 1927 at Sioux City, Iowa to Charles Webb and Mabel Amelia Kellogg Westbrook. Beau served in the United State Navy during World War II from 1945 thru 1948. Beau had worked as a Journeyman Carpenter most of his life. He also was a custodian in the Lexington School District for 5 years. Survivors include two sons, Ward Wayne Westbrook, Kirksville, MO; and Walton Lee Westbrook, stationed in Afghanistan and a daughter, Cynthia Taylor, Hobe Sound,Florida. There are six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Additional survivors include a sister, Elaine Durigan, Lexington. Preceding Beau in death are his parents, two sons, Wesley Westbrook, Douglas Westbrook, a brother, Earl Westbrook and sister, Betty Swift who passed away November 9, 2013. Memorial services with military rites will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO.
