Carole Faye Schroeder, 80, of Lexington passed away November 8, 2020 at New Haven Care Center in Odessa. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home. Per the family’s request, please wear face coverings and minimal fragrances. Carole was born March 24, 1940 in Wellington. She was raised in Lexington by her parents Bertie (Simmon) and Clarence Braun. She graduated from Lexington High School in 1958. Carole married Reinhardt Schroeder November 22, 1958 in Lexington. She worked for many years as a hair dresser and for GP’s Screenprinting. Carole was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed puzzles and gardening.
Survivors include her children, Eric Schroeder and wife Stephanie of Lexington, Tammy Doss and companion Marty Lyp of Jacksonville, FL, Valerie Garrett of Lexington and Kim Garner and husband John of Lexington; sister Barbara Amor of Liberty; 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; grandchildren Tommy Doss, III and Joshua Garner; and great grandchildren John Pennington, V and Emily Grace Pennington.
