Carol Earlene (Burchett) Danner, 66, of Lexington, Missouri passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Meyer Care Center in Higginsville, Missouri.
A memorial service will take place at 2:00 pm., Monday, October 7, 2024, at Trinity United Church-Christ 1312 Franklin Ave. Lexington, MO 64067. Memorials are suggested to Friends of the Friendless. Carol was born October 23, 1957, in Lexington, Missouri to Charles and Lorene (Schroer) Burchett. In 1976, she graduated from Lexington High School. Carol worked at Lafayette Regional Health Center as a E.R. Clerk. Carol was a member of Trinty United Church-Christ. On February 14, 1981, Carol was united in marriage to George Danner in Lexington, Missouri. Along with spending time with family and friends, Carol enjoyed fishing, soaking up the sun, spending time at the Elk’s pool and cheering on the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs. Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Above all, Carol was a courageous fighter, battling many illnesses.
Carol is survived by her loving husband, George Danner of Lexington MO; three children, Jeremy (Randyl) Danner of Kansas City, MO, Cody (Angela) Danner of Lexington, MO, and Rachel (Andy) Maxwell of Higginsville, MO; seven grandchildren, Bentley Acree, Cooper Danner, Ella Maxwell, Nevaeh Ballenger, Gavin Ballenger, Gentry Ballenger, and Sutton Ballenger; two sisters, Janette Collum of Edwardsburg, MI, and Karen Burchett of Kansas City, MO; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by both parents and a sister, Linda Burchett.
