Calvin Clair Randall, 87, of Centerview, Missouri passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family.
A family hosted Celebration of Life will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Three Rivers Hospice and may be mailed to the funeral home. Calvin was born on April 8, 1937, in Independence, MO to John Leroy and Ruth Marie (Schafer) Randall. He was a veteran of the United States Navy Air Corps serving from 1956 until 1960. Calvin then served two years in the reserves from 1960 to 1962. On September 7, 1979, Calvin was united in marriage to Glenda Kay Brown in Miami, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on March 6, 2017. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Independence, MO. Calvin retired from the Independence School District where he worked in maintenance. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Calvin enjoyed piddling on the farm.
Calvin is survived by three children, Joyce “Annie” Ann Browning and husband Don of Blue Springs, MO, Calvin “Keith” Randall, Sr. of Centerview, MO, and Michelle Renee Randall of Centerview, MO; one grandson, C.J. Randall and wife Martha of Corder, MO; three great-grandchildren, Rilley Randall, Kasen Randall, and Westyn Randall; one sister, Cynthia Lamberty and husband Dale of Overland Park, KS; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In addition to his parents and wife, Calvin was preceded in death by three sisters, Eloise Testerman, Lorena Wilcox, and Karen Johnson; and three brothers, Richard “Dick” Randall, Daniel Randall, and John Randall in infancy.
