Calvin Wesley Dunn

Calvin Wesley Dunn, 74, of Lexington, Missouri passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home. A Masonic Funeral Service will begin at 12 noon at the funeral home followed by a Celebration of Life at12:15 p.m. Inurnment will be in the Machpelah Cemetery. Calvin was born on February 3, 1944 in Lexington, MO to James William and Velma Marie (Dillard) Dunn. He was married to Dorothy (Brown) Dunn, later married Michealle (McGinnis) Dunn. Col. Calvin Dunn owned and operated Dunn Auction Services in Lexington from 1980 to 1994. Calvin remained active in the auction community and also worked as a Federal Crop Insurance Adjuster. He later worked as a marketer for Sam’s Club throughout the Kansas City metro area. Calvin was Mormon by faith and was proud his family had been sealed in the Mormon Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a member of the Free Masons Lexington Lodge 149 A.F. & A.M. and also the Shriners.

Survivors include four children, Angela Jeske and husband Eddie of Lexington, MO, Tammie Holmes and husband Jay of Lee’s Summit, MO, Aaron Dunn and wife Erin of Blue Springs, MO, and Tracy Lefholz and husband Dustin of Nashville, Tennessee; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one brother, Larry Dunn of Blue Springs, MO; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Calvin was preceded in death by two sons, Jimmy Dunn and Calvin Dunn; two brothers, Raymond Dunn and James Dunn; and two sisters, Ellen “Rainey” Rockhold and Jean Casdorph.
