Brigette Elizabeth Bell

Brigette Elizabeth (Thomas) Bell, 64, of Lexington, Missouri passed away December 10, 2023, at North Care Hospice House in Kansas City.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 S. St., Lexington, MO, 64067.  A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Machpelah Cemetery in Lexington, Missouri.  Memorials are suggested to Friends of the Friendless.  Memories of Brigette and condolences for her family may be left at www.LedfordFAmilyFH.com or on our Facebook Page. 

Brigette was born March 19, 1959, in Lexington, Missouri to Richard Byram and Rose Mary (Stapleton) Thomas. Brigette attended Lexington High School. She worked as a caretaker for Higginsville Rehabilitation Center. Brigette was united in marriage on August 16, 1974, to John Bell, Sr. in Lexington, Missouri. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lexington, Missouri. Along with spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, Brigette had a love for ceramics.

Brigette is survived by her loving husband of almost 50 years; John Bell, Sr.; two children, Shante (Dustin) Nickell of Lexington, MO and Dakota Bell of Lexington, MO; three grandchildren, Jonathan Bell, Elizabeth Nickell, and Zackery Nickell; two great-grandchildren, Nebula Bell and Kyler Bell; one sister, Bethany Thomas; one brother, Richard Thomas, Jr.; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Along with both her parents, Brigette was preceded in death by a son; Johnny Bell, Jr.
