Bonnie Kay Ruehter, 75, Lexington passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Ray County Hospital after a short illness. Bonnie Kay Wrisinger was born on April 1, 1943 in Richmond, MO to Roy D. and Alberta Rogers Wrisinger. She married James A. Ruehter on October 24, 1964 in Lexington, MO. Bonnie worked as a bookkeeper for OOIDA in Grain Valley for 18 years until her retirement.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Jim, of the home. Three children, Bert A. Ruehter and wife, Patti, LaMonte, MO; Mark A. Ruehter and wife, Valerie, Smithville, MO; Bobbi Kay and husband, Chris Sidor, Decatur, GA. There are six grandchildren, Lisa, Jessica, Brett, Paige, Zain, Myla and a great granddaughter, Sophia.
The family will hold a private burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to the Drumm Farm Center for Children.
Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
