Bonnie Frances (Martin) Frerking, 83, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at her home.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd Street, Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Bonnie was born on June 13, 1937 to Jamie and Susie (Fizer) Martin in Mayview, MO. After graduating from Odessa High School in 1955, Bonnie was united in marriage to Marion Frerking on July 16, 1955 in Warrensburg, MO. He preceded her in death on September 20, 1989. She worked at Action Products as a seamstress for over 15 years, retiring in 2008. Bonnie was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church of Odessa, MO. In addition to spending time with family and friends, she enjoyed sewing and reading.
Survivors include a daughter, Tracey Barker and husband Russ of Grain Valley, MO; a son, Ross Frerking and wife Nancy of Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren, Nick Barker of Grain Valley, MO, Kevin Barker of Kansas City, MO, Tyler Frerking of Parsons, KS, and Rashel Harkrider and husband Cody of Plattsburg, MO; three great grandchildren Jackson Frerking, and Charlee and Dakota Harkrider; three sisters, Peggy Pemberton and husband Donald, Mert Barker and husband Gene, and Helen Miller, all of Odessa, MO; a brother, Earl Martin and wife Barbara of Lowry City, MO; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In addition to her husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents.
