Billy Earl Engelhardt, 72 of Lexington, Missouri passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Northcare Hospice House in North Kansas City, MO.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 S. St., Lexington, MO, 64067, 660-259-2245. Billy was born on October 24, 1946 in McClurg, MO to Earl Otto and Wanda Josephine (Robbins) Engelhardt. He graduated in 1964 from Bradleyville High School in Bradleyville, MO. Billy worked for the Bill Kaiser Co. as a sewing machine specialist for 30 plus years. After retiring from there he continued working for 10 plus years at the Missouri Sewing Machine Co. in Kansas City, MO. On July 28, 2012 he married Patricia Kay (Lorantos) Engelhardt in Laurie, MO. Billy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and could be found having the time of his life at the lake, boating, water skiing and fishing.
Survivors include his wife Tish Engelhardt of Lexington, MO; three children, Billy Keith Engelhardt and wife Gina of Blue Springs, MO, Justin Heath Engelhardt and wife Dawn of Liberty, MO, Le’Tisha Renee’ Simmons and husband Jeremiah of Kansas City, MO; 15 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a brother, Ric Engelhardt and wife Lisa of Theodosia, MO and a sister Pauletta Moody and husband John of Springfield, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by a daughter, Lora Grace Engelhardt; and a grandson, Chase Engelhardt.
