Beverly Ann (Bowling) Weddle, 86, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on August 29, 2022, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO.

 

Beverly's family will host a visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Calvary Baptist Church, 7995 Outer Rd., Odessa, MO, 64076. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at the church. An inurnment will take place at a later date. Memorials are suggested to Calvary Baptist Church. Beverly was born on May 26, 1936, in Kansas City, Kansas to Kenneth and Madeline (Gaylord) Bowling. She graduated in 1954 from Odessa High School in Odessa, MO. Beverly was united in marriage to Clyde Weddle on July 28, 1983, in Odessa. He preceded her in death on December 2, 1989. She was a homemaker most of her life, taking care of her family and home. Beverly was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, River City Singles Square Dancers, Bee Squares in Odessa, and a club leader for the 40-Ville 4-H Club. She also taught Sunday School for many years. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Beverly enjoyed cryptogram puzzles, playing dominos, and was an avid reader.

 

Survivors include three children, Donald Lee Brannock, Jr., of Shell Knob, MO, Kimberly Michael and husband Alan of Odessa, MO, Kris Maples and husband Terry of Branson West, MO; five grandchildren, Heather VanLanker and husband Gary of Corder, MO, Stephanie Tyler and husband Jeff of Higginsville, MO, Robert Brannock and wife Samantha of Blue Springs, MO, Kyle Maples and wife Christy of Branson West, MO, and James Brannock of Gladstone, MO; 15 great-grandchildren, Hanna VanLanker of Grain Valley and fiancé Cody Behrman of Odessa, MO, Alli and Faith VanLanker of Corder, MO, Chloe and Bg Tyler of Higginsville, MO, Christian, Riley, Eli, and Annie Brannock of Blue Springs, MO, Mariah, Summer, and Jasmine Miller of Branson West, MO, and Alice, Bryant, and Rosie Maples of Branson West, MO; one great-great grandson, Nolen VanLanker of Grain Valley, MO; one brother, Kenny Bowling, Jr., of Shell Knob, MO; two nephews, Kevin Bowling and Bart Bishop.

 

In addition to her parents and husband, Beverly was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Bishop, and a nephew Brett Bishop.
