Betty June Rose, 89, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Golden Living Center in Odessa, MO.
The family will host a Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 15, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church in Odessa, 301 S. 1st St., Odessa, MO, 64076. No Visitation. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Wayside Waifs of Kansas City.
Betty was born on September 24, 1925 in Newton, Iowa to Jacque and Catherine Marie (Cline) Seal. After graduating high school she married Robert W. Rose on March 19, 1949. Robert preceded her in death on January 5, 2002. She retired from Black and Veatch as a Secretary. Betty was Catholic by faith. In addition to spending time with her family and friends along with her two cats, Betty enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing.
Survivors in include two children, Kevin Rose and wife Cheryl of Mayview, MO and Randy Rose and wife Keiko of Clancy Montana; and 3 grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom and Jack Seal.
