Betty Louise Wright

Betty Louise Wright, 75, of Lexington, Missouri passed away Monday July 21, 2014 at Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington, Missouri. Funeral services will be Monday, July 28, 2014 at 10:00AM at the Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home with burial at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri. Visitation will be Sunday July 27, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church of Lexington or the Relay for Life. Betty was born April 18, 1939 to Claude F. Tye and Edith (Stapleton) Tye in Odessa, Missouri. Betty married Gerald E. Wright on December 28, 1973. Gerald preceded Betty in death on February 23, 2006. Betty worked at Lafayette Regional Health Center for 34 years in housekeeping . Betty was also a member of Chapter 1488 Women of the Moose and a member of the First Baptist Church of Lexington, Missouri. Betty is survived by a step-son, John G. Wright of Tucson, AZ, a brother John Tye ( Judy) Lexington, MO and a sister, Lola Ray, of Lexington, MO. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Melva Jean Estes.
