Bettie Eveline Danner, 90, of Lexington passed away December 20, 2020 at Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence. Visitation will be Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home. A funeral service will also be on Saturday at the funeral home at 2:00 pm. Bettie was born January 20, 1930 in Lexington to Jessie and Olie (Duncan) Davis. She was a homemaker and a member of Lexington First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her children, Joyce Spicer of Cameron, Charlene Placke of Maysville, Dennis Danner of Blue Springs, Jackie Johnson of Lexington, Edward Danner of Liberty, Sherry Buie of Pleasanton, CA, Michael Danner of Lexington, Michelle Danner of Lexington, and Jeffrey Slaughter of Lexington; a brother, William “Bill” Davis; and a sister, Margie Folsom; nineteen grandchildren; and great grandchildren and nieces and nephew. Bettie was preceded in death by her parents; children, Kenny Danner, Johnnie Danner and Eugene Danner; brothers, Wilburn Davis and James “Jim” Davis; sisters, Mazie Parrot, Lee Martin, Lucille O’Donnel and Pauline Ramirez; and significant other, Maurice Pugh.
