Betty Jean Alderson, 78, of Bates City, Missouri passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington, MO.

Betty was born on August 30, 1940 in Memphis, Tennessee. She graduated from Treadwell High School in Memphis, Tennessee in 1957. After high school she earned a degree as a LPN. She retired as an LPN and worked for many doctor’s offices throughout the Malvern area. Betty was Christian by faith.
Betty is survived by two children, Nina Burrow and husband Marty of Bates City, MO and John Lamkin and wife Janel of Poplarville, Mississippi; four grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; a sister Maude Elizabeth Miller of Westminster, Colorado and many nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Joyce Smith.
